Gathering

Approach a resource, then E / Use to gather. The prompt tells you the material and whether it is available. Gathering spends stamina; leaving its range interrupts it. Nodes can move around their local patch when they respawn, so search the ground rather than one exact spot.

The catalogue has icons and vendor floors. Glass, bricks, cotton, spun fibre and metal parts are crafted, not new raw nodes. Goo has no public source yet.

The daily allowance

One account has one UTC-day material allowance: 1,000 units at level 1, falling by 20 per level to 500 at level 26 and above (L8 860, L18 660). Gathering and material loot share it. Stable production and the activity bar do not spend it.

Each basic also has its own daily limit per wallet: 400 sap and straw, 300 water, hide and scrap, 150 bone, and 20 horse shit from the activity bar. Nodes refill 20 an hour, holding up to 60. Levelling or reconnecting does not reset what you used today. Click the allowance on the top bar to open Daily limits, which shows what is blocking you, if anything.

Basics and rare

Basics have no world cap, but raw basics rot about 1/30 a day. Rare materials have a fixed supply that never grows back; when a pool runs out, respawns do not refill it. See Basics and rare materials. Fishing catches are collectibles, not raw materials.
