Payouts and the Split
Where the money comes from
Each horse coin earns creator fees on pump.fun as it trades. The keeper claims those fees (hourly) into one pot per race. At the bell, that pot is split four ways.
The split
| Slice | Share | Goes to |
|---|---|---|
| Holder payout | 50% | Top 40 holders of the winning horse |
| Buy and burn | 35% | Buys $GLUE on the market and burns it forever |
| Jackpot | 10% | Feeds the progressive jackpot pool |
| Keeper | 5% | Covers gas and ops |
Who gets the 50%
The winning horse's top 40 holders, weighted by how much they hold, with a 3% per wallet cap so no whale can hog the pot. Your share is proportional to your capped holdings.
The snapshot is frozen at the bell
This is the part people miss. The holder list is frozen at the bell, the moment the race ends. Buying the winning coin after the bell does not put you in that race's payout. The bonding curve and the keeper wallet are excluded. So the payout is decided by who held at the finish, not by who aped in after.
That is why holding past the bell is about the season, not that single race. See Careers and the Glue Factory.
Every payout is public
Each race has a proof page listing the frozen snapshot and every single payout transaction, one click to Solscan. Nothing is hidden. See Proofs and Transparency.
