Cosmetics and the Sticky Situations Shop
Some of what you wear changes nothing about how you play. It just makes you look unmistakably like you. Here is the full catalog: what drops, how rare it is, and what it costs at the shop that trades it, Sticky Situations.
If it was not in character creation, someone found it
When you make your soul you pick a small, free wardrobe: a couple of coats, a few manes, your hair, skin and boots. Every other look in the world, 23 of them, is a chase item. Nobody hands you one and no vendor stocks it new. It drops, from a kill, a miniboss, a boss, or a shipwreck chest out on the Shore, and lands in your trough as a real, tradeable item. Wear it and it becomes a permanent part of your look for good. Leave it in the trough and it stays something you can sell or trade, duplicates included.
Three rarities
Every dropped look carries a rarity, and the color is the same wherever you see it in the world:
8 coats, 5 manes, 6 saddle colors and 4 hairstyles make the 23, split 4 uncommon, 12 rare and 7 legendary.
Who can wear what
A coat, mane, saddle or boots is a horse-soul look, and a human soul can only window shop it. Hair is a human-soul look, and a horse soul cannot wear it. Skin (4 shades) and boots (2 finishes) are creation only: nobody has ever found one. A saddle color additionally needs the saddle itself, the riding key you craft at the workshop, before it goes on. No saddle, no saddle color.
How a drop happens
An ordinary kill in the wild rolls three independent chances, checked legendary first so a lucky roll never doubles up: 0.008% legendary, 0.04% rare, 0.15% uncommon. Wolves and stags pay double all three. A miniboss always drops something, uncommon or better. A boss always drops rare or better. A shipwreck chest has a 10% chance to roll a drop at all, tiered the same way a miniboss is.
Spread across however many looks share a tier, that comes out to roughly these odds per specific look, on an ordinary kill:
| Tier | Chance per kill | Chance for one specific look |
|---|---|---|
| Uncommon | 0.15% | about 0.04% |
| Rare | 0.04% | about 0.003% |
| Legendary | 0.008% | about 0.001% |
A horse soul only ever rolls coat, mane, saddle and boots looks, and a human soul only ever rolls hair. There is no uncommon hairstyle yet, so a human soul's guaranteed drops (miniboss, boss, chest) always land rare or better.
Sticky Situations
Sticky Situations is the shop in Glueburg that trades every one of these looks. It shares its order book with the Gloo Exchange, but a look never lists there, only at the shop door.
The house opened with a one-time shelf, priced once and locked forever after:
| Tier | House stock, per look | Price |
|---|---|---|
| Uncommon | 12 | 430,000 gloo (about $5) |
| Rare | 5 | 2,150,000 gloo (about $25) |
| Legendary | 2 | 8,600,000 gloo (about $100) |
Sold out is forever. About 122 units minted onto the shelf at genesis across all 23 looks, and once a slot sells, drops are the only way another one ever enters the world. Every house sale pays the town treasury in full. Every player to player resale after that pays the treasury a 5% cut and prints on the tape like a real trade, up to a 10,000,000 gloo price ceiling, ten times the Exchange's own.
Right now the shop is a teaser: walk in, browse the shelf and watch the ticker, and wearing a look you already own works exactly like it will later. Buying, selling and listing open the day the doors do. Check your wallet at the alpha checker.
The catalog
All 23 looks, by slot. Price and stock are the same for every look in a tier (₲ is gloo); the small pill only shows where a look actually carries a stat perk.

Cool seat, cooler rider.

Goes faster. (It does not go faster.)

Blends into the meadow. Your horse does not.

Visible from the next zone over.

Somebody has to be the icon.

Stealth luxury. The stitching alone.
