# Get Started

Gluniverse is an **invite only alpha**. If you are invited, entering takes about a minute.

## The door

Connect your wallet and **sign** to prove it is you. That is the whole entrance. Signing is **not a transaction**: there is no fee, no gas, and nothing leaves your wallet.

## You wake in the dead forest

Every soul wakes **alone in the dead forest**. Find the **scarecrow** and talk to it.

## Find your companion

Your companion is out there, **somewhere past the four ways**. Go look. Once you are bonded, the world opens.

## Controls

- **WASD** or the **arrow keys** to move.
- **E** to talk and to gather.
- **Space** to fight.

## Your progress follows your wallet

Progress is **saved to your wallet**. Sign in from anywhere and you continue exactly where you left off.
